about me
I’m a multidisciplinary artist, arts administrator, and programme producer based in Manchester, currently working as Director, Programme Producer, and Events Coordinator at Underbank Studios in Stockport. My work sits across community arts, education, ceramics, print, mixed media, and creative programming, with a strong focus on inclusivity and creating welcoming spaces where people feel encouraged to take part creatively.
Alongside managing Underbank Studios, I work freelance delivering art workshops and creative sessions within schools and community settings, encouraging people of all ages to engage with creativity in accessible and hands-on ways. I have experience planning and running workshops, organising exhibitions and events, and supporting emerging artists through collaborative and community-led projects.
My own creative practice is multidisciplinary, rooted in ceramics, illustration, printmaking, textiles, and mixed media. I hold a degree in Textiles in Practice, where I specialised in print design and mixed media processes. Alongside exhibiting my work, I also used to sell my ceramics and illustrations internationally, shipping pieces worldwide.
I have also worked within festival and live event settings through set design and creative installation work, alongside experience working in pottery studios and public creative spaces.
Across all areas of my work, I am passionate about community-focused creative practice and believe strongly in accessibility, collaboration, and inclusivity within the arts.
Alongside my role at Underbank Studios, I continue to work across festivals, exhibitions, hospitality, and education-based creative projects throughout the UK.
I’ve exhibited work in group shows including at HOME Manchester and Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery, as well as various exhibitions and events at Underbank Studios.
Within festival settings, I worked for three consecutive years with Cloud 9 Decor at Lost Village Festival, contributing to décor installation and immersive set dressing. I have also worked at Glastonbury Festival with Get Crooked, assisting with set-up and shop duties during the festival.
Alongside creative production work, I’ve spent several years working within hospitality, festivals, bars, and pop-up events around Manchester and across the UK, including with RONI Mac and Cheese and ISIT Kitchen. Working within hospitality — especially queer-led spaces — has shaped my approach to communication, inclusivity, and community-building.
I also previously worked as a pottery tutor at Three Sixty Pottery, delivering workshops for both beginners and experienced learners while supporting social media content and promotion for the studio.
My experience across arts programming, events, hospitality, and education has given me a collaborative and adaptable approach to creative work, with a strong focus on making creative spaces feel open, supportive, and accessible.
